Happy Mondays is an award-winning, independent, community-focused coffee shop based on my local high street. Their shops are cosy, their barista's are friendly, their is food fresh and tasty, and most importantly, their coffee is delicious. This concept rebrand project aims to create a friendly and welcoming identity that reflects the inviting nature of their shop and supports their mission to ensure their customers leave feeling better than when they arrived.

My challenge was to create a distinctive identity that pulls all the elements of their name together into a cohesive design with a warm and familiar asthetic. A new primary logo was created, and their current logo redesigned and repurposed as a secondary logo, perfect for in-store branding, such as, menus, takeaway cups and window displays. A brand pattern was developed as a recognisable visual brand element to support the logos. I took the existing colour palette and brightened it up to maintain the brands approachability and trust, furthermore improving the brands visibility and recognition on the high street.
